The NYT published Nate Silver’s political calculus, “5 Reasons Republicans Could Do Even Better Than Expected”. Silver paints a conservatives’ dream for election eve. I pray he’s right, except I’m not a prayer based guy. So I’ll just say I read what he wrote and I think he has nailed it. This is a completely new election environment. The citizens are revolting and neither party knows how to react. The GOP is better placed, but that advantage will last two seconds if they ignore the grassroots.

Democrats decided the grassroots were a bunch of racist rednecks financed by “Corporate America”, the same guys that financed Obama. Well, unfortunately for the Democrats, nobody buys that fairy-tale.
