The EPA wants to regulate Carbon Dioxide emissions. It should also look at the critical precursor element, a highly reactive gas called Oxygen. Oxygen readily combines with Carbon to produce Carbon Dioxide.
C + O2 –> CO2
This dangerous reaction occurs in many human activities, including making fire and breathing. The government needs to regulate Oxygen emissions in the atmosphere to minimize the chances that CO2 will be produced by human activity. Human activities that create Oxygen include forestry, crop growing, reforestation projects and anything else involving plants and photosynthesis.
